More Elbert County Good News!

Wilson Industrial Electric, Inc., is another Elbert County business reinvesting into the community. After last weeks report about facelifts at Pinnacle Bank and the Elbert St. McDonald’s, Wilson Industrial was eager to also share their ‘good news.’

When asked why this year was assigned ‘renovation year,’ pride in the community and the (excitement of the) success of other industries was quickly answered.

Wilson Industrial Electric will be expanding their facility to accommodate a larger demand for their Ag products and to reduce customer downtime by staying accessible and local. All products are manufactured here, for businesses all over the United States, Canada, and Mexico, According to CFO Melissa Black, “Wilson Industrial Electric, Inc. is not your standard equipment builder.  We build our equipment to suit the customer’s needs.  We listen to our customers, and sometimes even incorporate some of the customer’s ideas into the equipment we build.

“We will be replacing our current one-story office with a new 2 Story building and are excited to get started, putting a new updated look on our facility, and adding new employees as we expand!  It will be a nice building that hopefully will inspire more changes throughout Elbert County!

“In addition, we will also be expanding our machinery and parts categories and implementing new software that will allow us to eventually go online with a web-based store and offer our parts products worldwide. This will be a lengthy process but an exciting one! We hope to continue our service to Elbert County and surrounding counties for a long, long time!”

The Development Authority –  Our mission is to have all businesses notice the renovations going on around town, possibly doing the same.

Elbert County existing industries are a significant part of our daily and existing economy, and will be shown strong expansion and retention support.
